Cudas Win!  374 to 251

The Cudas win again for the second straight meet this year.  An away meet at Westador was the venue.   The Westador 8 lane meter pool made the Cudas feel right at home.  The pool offered a nice grass area close to the action, plenty of bleacher seating right next to the pool and shaded areas around the pool.   A very nice facility.   The weather was much warmer than our first meet but a slight breeze and the clouds kept the sun off the patrons most of the morning.  The meet completed about 11:30am!!

Although the score was closer than our last meet, the Cudas still controlled the meet from the beginning.  Westador has a large group on 11 and up young men that matched up well against our group.   While our men's 15-18 come from behind victory in the 200m relay in the last event of the day may have been fast and exciting, it scores the same number of points as each of our boys 7-8 100m relay win and the girls 7-8 100m relay win.    In fact of the 10 final freestyle relays, the Cudas won 8.

The 10 and under Cudas out numbered and out swam the Westador swimmers in most of their events.   But the Waves were still putting up points and were hanging around.   But as the meet continued, the Cudas kept up the pressure and ended with a decisive victory.

This week we have our first home meet.
